Support us!

Help Support Great music by donating to The Civic Orchestra of Minneapolis.

Your support helps us to continue providing free concerts to our community.

Please consider the following four ways you could contribute to the growth of the Orchestra:

1. Direct, tax- deductible contributions to the orchestra

  • Write a check: 100% of your donation will benefit the Orchestra.
  • Donate by visiting us at: GIVEMN.ORG 137x144_donatenow
  • Or by donating at PayPal.com:  (Preferred method).

2. Corporate donation programs

Many Minnesota employers provide volunteer benefits including gift matching to the employee-supported charities. (Some employers extend these benefits to the employee spouses and retirees.)

Please contact us for a list of employer gift matching programs by contacting us.

Some employers donate to non-profits based on their employee’s volunteer hours. We can help you determine whether your employer has a volunteer match program.

3. AmazonSmile program

The Orchestra has a Participation Agreement with AmazonSmile, the charitable giving arm of Amazon.com. Make your holiday gift giving purchases through this site and AmazonSmile will contribute 0.5% of each pre-tax purchase amount to the Orchestra. It does not charge the nonprofit or purchaser any additional fees. Purchases made through the Amazon application or using Amazon.com website will not qualify for a match, so it might be a good idea to set the AmazonSmile website as a favorite in your internet settings.

amazon-smileIf you are already a registered Amazon.com user, click here to start the process of selecting the Civic Orchestra of Minneapolis as your favorite charity. From that point, all of the purchases you make on AmazonSmile will contribute to the Orchestra. For the privacy conscious, the Orchestra will not have access to personal information on purchases.

One of the conditions of the program requires the Orchestra only to mention the AmazonSmile program in an email bulletin or online on our website, and any email communication/website that mentions the program also needs to mention other donation matching programs at the same time. Hence, if you are planning to forward this email, please forward the email in its entirety.

4. In-Kind Donations

Donate an item for our Benefit Concert . If you wish to donate an item, please contact an orchestra member and they will assist your donation. If you have some time to spare, have marketing skills, financial experience, fundraising skills, organizational skills, see our opportunity below.

YOU COULD ALSO BECOME A BOARD MEMBER AND HELP GUIDE THE MISSION OF THE ORCHESTRA.
Please let us know if you know of any other individual and corporate grant programs that the Orchestra could benefit from. Many thanks for your help.
