Welcome to our 69th Season

The Civic Orchestra of Minneapolis continues its tradition of playing the orchestral standards along with rarely performed. The orchestra is the oldest community orchestra in Minneapolis, being founded in 1952,  and has served as a model for the dozens of orchestras that have followed.

We are actively planning for a mini-series of hour-long outdoor chamber concerts in the Milwaukee Avenue Historic District of South Minneapolis in May and June.
In July we are planning on returning to the Lake Harriet Bandshell. That concert has always been a favorite and a lot of fun to play.
We plan on opening our 2021-2022 concert season in late October with a program of the ever inspirational Beethoven Third Symphony and a new vibrant, exciting work by the renowned Mexican composer, Arturo Marquez.
Stay tuned for details!
